Journal History

JSIE (Journal of Sharia and Islamic Economics) published by the Department of Sharia and Economics, STAIN Bengkalis can be said to be a new academic journal with this theme in Indonesia. The subjects discussed include textual studies and fieldwork with various perspectives on Islamic economics, Islamic public finance, Islamic finance, Islamic accounting, Islamic business ethics, Islamic banking, Islamic insurance, Islamic economic thought, Islamic human resource management, Islamic microfinance, Islamic development economics, Islamic monetary economy, Islamic fiscal economy, Islamic capital markets, halal tourism and other related themes. Thus, Indonesian and non-Indonesian scholars have enriched the studies published in these journals. Although JSIE did not present highly quality scholarly articles from the start, the improvement - in terms of format, style and academic quality - never stopped. Now with articles written in Indonesian, Arabic and English as well as fair peer-reviewed procedures, JSIE continues to publish research and studies related to Islamic finance and economics with various dimensions and approaches.

JSIE publishes biannually, June and December, puts Islamic finance, economics and society at the center of academic inquiry and invites any comprehensive observation of Islamic economics as the theological beliefs and systems of society and Muslims as those who practice religion. with many facets. The journal, which is a forum for Islamic economic studies in Indonesia and other parts of the world in a challenging local and global context, supports Islamic economics and finance studies that are focused on specific themes and across disciplines. JSIE has become a medium for diffusion and exchange of research ideas and findings, in such a way that researchers, writers and readers from various learning traditions can interact scientifically.
