Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Sahabat Zayed Golek Garwo program as a modern ta'aruf media at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Surakarta. This program is present as a response to the decline in marriage rates in Indonesia and facilitates the community in finding a life partner in today's era. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Sahabat Zayed Golek Garwo program has been running very effectively through digital technology updates in managing participant data and the use of social media as a means of socialization and promotion. This success is driven by the level of public trust in the program in collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Affairs, maintaining the privacy and security of participants, social media as a means of attracting public interest, and adequate facilities at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Nevertheless, regular inspection and strengthening of the workflow mechanism are important aspects in optimizing the program in the future.
