About the Journal

Akademika: Jurnal Keagamaan dan Pendidikan is a scientific journal published by IAIN Datuk Laksemana Bengkalis. This biannual journal, issued every June and December, focuses on Islamic Studies, Education, and Local Wisdom, particularly Malay culture. It invites scholars, researchers, and professionals to submit papers related to Islamic studies, education, and local wisdom for publication and public dissemination. All submitted manuscripts will undergo a strict review process involving peer reviewers and thorough editing. Akademika is registered in the National Library under the International Standard Serial Numbers (ISSN) for both print (2087-5630) and online (2685-158X) editions. Beginning in 2025, Akademika uses a new Journal Template.
