ANALISIS GOOD GOVERNANCE DALAM PELAYANAN PUBLIK DI KANTOR CAMAT BINA WIDYA KOTA PEKANBARU

This study aims to analyze Good Governance in public services at the Bina Widya District Office, Pekanbaru City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The results of the study indicate that the application of good governance principles in public services at the Bina Widya District Office is considered positive in 2 principles, namely participation and the supremacy of law, however, regarding the application of the principles of accountability and transparency, it is still considered negative or not optimal in its implementation. Supporting factors for the implementation of good governance principles in public services at the Bina Widya District Office are (1) effective communication; (2) adequate resources; (3) disposition showing the characteristics of policy implementers, namely honesty, commitment and democracy; (4) bureaucratic structure which includes two important aspects, namely the program implementation mechanism according to standard operating procedures so that it is easy to understand as stated in the policy guidelines and the implementing organizational structure.
