The Effectiveness of Cooperative Learning Strategy in Improving Arabic Language Learning Achievements of Students at State Islamic Junior High School 1 Bengkalis

Abstract

This research is experimental quantitative research. Study An experiment is a research conducted to find the consequences of something done intentionally by researchers. The design of this research is pretest-posttest control group design. The aim of this research is to find out how to apply the cooperative learning model to improve learning outcomes Arabic for students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Bengkalis, and for find out whether the application of the cooperative learning model is effective improve Arabic language learning outcomes for Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 students Bengkalis. The population in this study were all class VII Madrasah students Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Bengkalis,consists of seven classes totaling 224 student. Class sampling was carried out by random sampling from classes There are 7 classes in VII and one class was chosen, namely class VII E as the class experiment. The instrument used in this research was a test question. The data analysis technique in this research uses statistics descriptive. Based on research results using descriptive statistics of the results calculations using SPSS 2222 on student learning outcomes, Sig the independent sample T test shows that the value is significant, namely equal to 0،00 which is smaller than 0،05. This shows that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is an influence on the application of the model cooperative learning. So the cooperative learning model is effective inimproving student learning outcomes in Arabic language subjects in madrasas Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Bengkalis.
