The Effectiveness of the Suggestopedia Method to Improve Students' Speaking Skill

This research aims to prove the effectiveness of the Suggestopedia method to increase students' speaking skills. The subject of this research is the Arabic language teacher and student at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pekanbaru and the object is the effectiveness of the Suggestopedia method to increase students' speaking skills. The population of this research is the student of the second grade at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pekanbaru and the sample is class XI IPS III and XI IPA III. Instruments used in collecting the data of this research are observation and test. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the Suggestopedia method effectively increases students' speaking skills. Because the score of To = 4 is high than Tt on standard 1% = 2.65 and 5% = 2.00. It means H0 is rejected and Ha accepted.
