Abstract

Many students lack a good command of vocabulary, resulting in numerous errors in writing. These errors include Arabic letter writing and correct vocabulary usage. This issue is caused by several teachers who fail to implement teaching methods according to existing theories. The aim of this research is to determine the vocabulary teaching at Pondok Modern Nurul Hidayah and its effectiveness in improving the writing skills of tenth-grade students therein. The results of this study indicate that there is an improvement in writing skills in each class, confirming that the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class are higher than those in the control class, namely 15.96 and 14.10, respectively.
