Implementation Of Crossword Puzzle Media To Increasing Interest In Arabic Language Learning Students Class VII MTsN 1 Bengkalis

Lack of interest in learning Arabic is a problem encountered by researchers at MTsN 1 Bengkalis. Crossword media is considered by researchers as a solution to overcome these problems. Student learning interest is a student's desire and ability accompanied by deliberate activeness and more focused student attention and will ultimately lead to a sense of pleasure in behavior change. This research is a class action research. The data collection techniques used by researchers in this study are observation and questionnaire. The implementation of crossword media to increase student interest in learning Arabic in this study was carried out up to 3 cycles. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the implementation of crossword media can increase students' interest in learning Arabic. This is evidenced by the increase in the percentage of indicators of student interest in learning each cycle. In cycle 1, the percentage of students' interest indicators was 63%, in cycle 2 it was 71%, and in cycle 3 there was a very large increase of 86%.
