Application of the Listening Dictation Methods to Develop the Writing Skill of Elevent Grade Students Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Hidayah Sungai Apit

Students at Madrasah Aliyah Ar-rosyidiyah Sungai Alam Bengkalis have a desire to learn Arabic, but they lack motivation in learning Arabic. This phenomenon is the biggest problem in the student learning process. So listening dictation methods are one method for improving student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to determine the application of listening dictation methods in teaching Arabic to eighth grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Hidayah Sungai Apit and to determine the improvement in learning Arabic using listening dictation methods for eleven grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Hidayah Sungai Apit. This research is a quantitative experiment, where this research uses tests and questionnaires, to collect data from samples, the data sources are teachers and eleven grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Hidayah Sungai Apit. The results of this research: 1) the researcher himself applied listening dictation methods in teaching Arabic, the implementation was carried out well according to the basic concept of this method. 2) listening dictation methods in improving the learning outcomes of eighth grade students at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Hidayah Sungai Apit, as for the process of increasing it gradually over time.
