About the Journal

Takah Journal of Sociology is an international, peer-reviewed, and open access journal published by the Department of Sociology of Religion, Faculty of Da’wah and Islamic Communication, IAIN Datuk Laksemana Bengkalis, Indonesia. The aim of this journal is to publish high-quality articles dedicated to the field of sociology. The scope of the journal includes social spirituality and religiosity, social needs, social change, human ecology, and virtual societies. Takah publishes original findings, literature reviews, meta-analyses, and theoretical articles.

Takah is published twice a year in June and November. Submissions are open year-round. Each edition contains 5 (five) articles. The submitted article must meet the assessment criteria, be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English, and follow author guidelines and the manuscript template. Paper must be sent to Open Journal System (OJS) with .doc or .docx format. The entire process will be free of charge. The editorial board reserves the right to correct sentence structures without altering the content of the submitted articles.
