Science learning oriented toward scientific literacy requires innovative strategies that integrate conceptual understanding, scientific processes, and the application of knowledge in real-life contexts. However, classroom practices remain dominated by conventional approaches, resulting in low student participation and scientific literacy levels. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the educational game Baamboozle in science learning oriented toward scientific literacy and its contribution to students’ engagement and conceptual understanding. The research employed a descriptive approach involving junior high school students as subjects. Baamboozle was implemented through interactive, group-based quizzes aligned with scientific literacy indicators. Data were collected through classroom observations, student questionnaires, and learning outcome tests, then analyzed descriptively using qualitative and simple quantitative methods. The results indicate that Baamboozle enhances students’ activeness, motivation, interaction, and conceptual understanding. Therefore, Baamboozle is recommended as an innovative learning medium to strengthen scientific literacy in schools.
